What to Expect

During your visit, you can expect to be welcomed by a group of people who are passionate about martial arts. If you come excited and ready to work hard, you will definitely enjoy the class while making friends!

You’ll be given instruction on basic procedures and etiquette for training by the instructors or assistants during your first few lessons. Adult classes run for one hour and the kids’ classes run 45 minutes long.

If you have any questions or concerns, our staff will be more than happy to address them!

Metro Karate & Jiu Jitsu What to Bring & Wear

What to Bring & Wear

If you are just dropping by for a free class, please wear comfortable workout clothing. Remove all jewelry prior to the start of class.

After completing your free class and signing up for our 2-week Intro Deal, you will be provided with a free karate gi (uniform) to use for all future classes*.

We encourage all of our students to bring a water bottle to class to stay hydrated. However, we do have a water dispenser that you can use if you forget your water bottle. Aside from that, you may want to bring a small towel in case you sweat a little.

*The Jiu Jitsu Gi is free upon signing up for our monthly program*
